The DI TERRA Primitivo di Manduria DOP from the 2021 vintage comes from the renowned wine region Manduria in Apulia. The protected designation of origin DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta) guarantees origin, quality, and the typical style of this traditional region.
Made from 100% Primitivo, this wine grows in the classic cultivation zone around Manduria. The vines are cultivated using the traditional Alberello system (bush vine training) – a training method that stands for concentrated grapes and intense aromas.
The wine is aged in stainless steel and barrique. While the stainless steel tank preserves freshness and fruitiness, aging in wood provides additional structure, fine spice, and smooth tannins.
In the glass, the wine presents itself in a deep ruby red. The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherries, plums, and dark berries, accompanied by subtle spice and wood notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, soft, and balanced, with pleasant warmth and a harmonious, long finish. A classic Primitivo with typical Southern Italian expressiveness.
Ideal with grilled meat, lamb, game dishes, pasta with rich sauces, or aged cheese.
