Cantolio Rubes Salento Primitivo Passito I.G.P. | 0.75 L | 16% vol.
Intense Primitivo Passito from Salento with ripe fruit, dense structure and a velvety-soft character.
Product Description
The Rubes Salento Primitivo Passito I.G.P. from Cantolio comes from the sun-drenched vineyards of Apulia in southern Italy. The Primitivo grapes grow in the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi and are traditionally cultivated using the Alberello system.
Through the Passito style and aging in stainless steel and barrique, this wine develops a particularly concentrated aroma and a powerful structure. The long maturation ensures depth, warmth and an exceptionally soft character.
In the glass, the wine shows a deep dark red with violet reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe dark fruits, plums, black cherries and sweet spice notes unfold.
On the palate, the Rubes is full-bodied, dense and velvety with soft tannins, pleasant warmth and a long aromatic finish. The harmonious balance of fruit, spice and richness makes this wine particularly intense and characterful.
Ideal with hearty meat dishes, game, aged cheese, braised dishes or as a meditative wine for special moments.
Recommended serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
An opulent and expressive Primitivo Passito from the heart of Salento.
