The PRIORIS – Primitivo Salento I.G.P. from Masseria Cicella originates from Puglia in Southern Italy. The designation I.G.P. (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) guarantees the geographical origin and the regional typical style of this characterful red wine.

Bottled by Vinicola Cicella F.lli Schiavone in Torricella (TA), this wine reflects the traditional viticultural culture of the region. According to the label, it combines the history, aromas, and memories of the Masseria tradition in a particularly structured red wine.

In the glass, the wine shows a very dark ruby red with an almost black core. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe dark fruits like plum and black cherry unfold, accompanied by spicy and slightly sweet notes.

On the palate, it presents itself as extremely full-bodied, dense, and powerful, with a noticeable warmth and a long, intense finish. The very high alcohol content of 18 % vol. is clearly perceptible and characterizes the opulent nature of this wine.
