Product Description

The I Frati Lugana DOC Magnum from Ca’ dei Frati is one of Italy's most renowned white wines and presents itself in a particularly elegant and age-worthy 1.5-liter magnum bottle. This traditional winery from Sirmione on Lake Garda produces this characterful Lugana from the Turbiana grape variety.

The vineyards are located south of Lake Garda on mineral-rich soils, which give the wine its typical freshness, minerality, and fine saline note. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks under temperature control, optimally preserving its clear fruit and elegant style.

In the glass, the wine displays a pale straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose, fine aromas of white blossoms, jasmine, chamomile, ripe stone fruit, and citrus fruits unfold.

On the palate, the Lugana is fresh, creamy, and harmonious with a mineral structure, fine acidity, and a long, elegant finish. The magnum bottle also contributes to a particularly calm and high-quality maturation of the wine.
