Cicella Negroamaro Salento IGP Winery | 0.75 L | 13.5% vol.
A spicy, characterful Negroamaro from Salento with intense aromatics and Mediterranean depth.
Product Description
The Negroamaro Salento IGP 2022 from Vinicola Cicella F.lli Schifone originates from southern Apulia, a region with an ideal climate for powerful red wines. The designation IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) signifies the protected geographical origin from the Salento area.
The wine is produced from pure Negroamaro grapes, cultivated in the vineyards around Torricella and Maruggio. Thanks to the long maceration period, it develops a pronounced aromatic complexity and structure.
In the glass, the Negroamaro displays a deep ruby red. The nose is dominated by dark berry aromas, ripe cherries, and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is dry, full-bodied, and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant, lingering finish.
With 13.5 % vol. alcohol, this red wine is a versatile companion to meat dishes, pasta with rich sauces, grilled dishes, and aged cheese.
Recommended serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
A typical, aromatically dense Negroamaro with clear origin and Mediterranean character.
